67- tell others - ZERO votes to BN/UMNO

Latest:  PR on the way to Putrajaya and where is Musa Aman going?  Jump? Joshua

IMPORTANT :  GIVE BN/UMNO zero votes GE13
Dear Malaysians especially genuine Sabahans,
There are many non genuine Sabahans in Sabah.
This is the message for the nation at the time of GE13.
It is meaningless for Sabah and Malaysia to have this GE13 when the electoral rolls are loaded with illegal people given genuine identity cards.  You call this a ‘Malaysian’ nation.
How many political parties in Malaysia are legal when many foreigners given genuine identity cards to become members especially UMNO in Sabah?
Why waste so much resources of up to RM100billions including campaigning by many people and many people disturbed in their businesses to conduct a false General Election and this is not the first time General Election is not a farce.
What we want is a true, free and fair General Election?  Cheating by Election Commissions has been the normal business even getting the law changed to ‘no challenge to the Electoral Rolls once gazetted.”  How can we protect thieves by such a law?  Isn’t it BN/UMNO wanted that because of fraudulent Electoral Rolls?
How to conduct a true, fair and free General Election when there are so many aspects of no level playing field and everyone knows that?
We must stop the BN/UMNO for another term especially BN/UMNO in Sabah since grabbing power in 1994 after recruiting the ‘terrorists’ for ‘citizenships’ from across the Sulu sea.  I have used the term ‘terrorist’ as it was used for the “Tanduoa Invasion” after the Home minister earlier said “ not militant, not terrorists”  but later switched to terrorists after the security forces were killed including head chopped off and bodies/eyes mutilated.
According to Hassnar Ebrahim who told us that NRD’s Sani Abdullah  told him that people from Southern Philippines if given citizenship would one day come back to bite us.  Now we have witnessed so soon as that in Lahad Datu, Semporna etc.
BN/UMNO in 50 very long years had never resolved the Sabah Claim and yet Najib claimed BN/UMNO had delivered to the people.
At one time it was considered that the presence of illegal people is the mother of all woes in Sabah.
Then I consider the Sabah Claim by Sulu/Manila/others yet to be resolved is the grandmother of all woes in Sabah.
Now it is UMNO in Malaysia and Sabah as the great grandmother of all woes in the nation especially in Sabah.
If we want solution, then we should know what to do at GE13.  We as voters who love Malaysia and Sabah should know what to do – give ZERO votes to BN/UMNO.  Lets only dubious citizens vote BN/UMNO whose socalled leaders are traitors fit to be done with in that fashion with total rejection.

Now we come to Sabah’s special scenario for an UBAH.  I think Putrajaya already decided by Malaya alone for UBAH.
It is sad to see the line up in the candidates in most seats giving the voters some headache to decide.  If all voters give ZERO votes to BN/UMNO, then it is a friendly contest amongst the opposition parties (Malaya-based, Sabah/Sarawak-based).  Then we have an UBAH in Sabah’s state Government – congratulations for the 50 years or golden jubilee in 2013 for a truly independence
Why give BN/UMNO zero votes at GE13?
1.       Ask Musa Aman and his task force on the 400,000 genuine identity cards given to Tausug, Suluk etc in 1990s and many of the Project IC holders are voters in Sungai Sibuga.  Is this not a terrorism or treasonous act by Musa Aman in an agenda of trojan horses?  With this concept, how can Musa want/can resolve the Sabah Claim and Project IC?
2.       BN/UMNO leaders did expect the Royal Commission of Inquiry on Illegal Immigrants in Sabah to be completed and implemented prior to GE13.  But this is a great disappointment because those who wanted to leave BN are still there cheating the voters with fraudulent electoral rolls.  With the dubious citizens in the Rolls, BN/UMNO imagine sure to win GE13 as aided by Election Commission as done previously.
3.       The dubious citizens are likely bumiputra and so the incoming ILLEGAL Government would only bring benefits to them marginalizing the  local and others as had been done for decades and so why let them be in power again.
Based on 1, 2 and 3, BN/UMNO should not deserve any votes from genuine voters – Sabahans and Malaysians alike.  Let them lost their deposits this time as a good sign of CHANGE or UBAH.
In my campaign for N13 Likas byelection 2001, I hung banner “UMNO to go home”.  Lajim, Musa and many others saw that in All Saints’ School, Likas.
The results for the Sabah state of General Election 13 could be better still if SAPP and STAR (both not Malaya based) compromise on 30 seats with a single candidate now and declare it to the voter.
So both parties sacrifice 15 candidates each so that SAPP and STAR can form a coalition Government in Sabah with other independent candidates as CHANGE or UBAH.
If SAPP, sacrifice 15, there are still 26 and STAR still have 34 both enough number to win at least 35 seats together.
SAPP and STAR, please act FAST now.

MANILA, Philippines - The sultanate of Sulu yesterday confirmed that 35 of its supporters in Sabah were killed on Wednesday as reported by Malaysia’s Star Online.
But Abraham Idjirani, spokesman for the sultanate, said the 35 were killed by the Malaysian Navy and not by Philippine forces as previously reported.
Idjirani said the information was relayed to him yesterday by Guro Bata II, a commander of the sultanate in Lahad Datu town in Sabah.
“He called me up and informed me that members of the Malaysian Navy on speedboats were the ones who shot them on Wednesday night while in Malaysian waters. The bodies were then taken to Philippine waters where they were dumped overboard,” he said.
On Thursday, Star online reported the 35 men were allegedly shot by the Philippine Navy as they tried to cross into Sabah from Sulu.
The Star quoted Malaysian Defense Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as saying that the armed men were shot by Philippine Navy and Coast Guard personnel before they could enter Malaysian waters with the reported mission of disrupting the upcoming Malaysian elections.
Headlines ( Article MRec ), pagematch: 1, sectionmatch: 1
“If they had entered our waters, we would have taken them out. We will defend our country,” Zahid said in a press conference in Georgetown, Penang.
Zahid cited intelligence reports that the “Sulu militants” were out to terrorize the Malaysian general elections on May 5.
The report was earlier denied by both the Philippine Navy and by the Sulu sultanate.
The sultanate’s forces have been locked in a standoff with Malaysian security forces since they landed in Lahad Datu last Feb. 12 in their bid to stake their ancestral claim on Sabah.
Idjirani said the sultanate believes that the shooting of the 35 by the Malaysian Navy and placing the blame on Philippine security forces was planned to drive a wedge between the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) and the Philippine government.
Idjirani said by creating friction between the MNLF-influenced Sulu archipelago and MalacaƱang, it would be easier for the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF)-backed Bangsamoro region to take shape.
The government is currently talking peace with the MILF with the initial agreement of creating a Bangsamoro autonomous region.
The sultanate had called on the Philippine government to take up the issue of their claim to Sabah before the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in Brunei (ASEAN) summit in Brunei.
The Philippines, however, will not be seeking multilateral action on the Sabah claim but will discuss the territorial issue “bilaterally” with Malaysia, according to Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario.
“If there are disputes, it should be discussed on a bilateral basis. We have selected that route. Bilateral consultations had been ongoing. That’s the way to do it,” Del Rosario said in MalacaƱang yesterday.
Del Rosario said the Sabah issue was not raised in the ASEAN summit in Brunei because it was not on the agenda.
“It was not part of agenda. Also, I think that the position of the Philippines and of ASEAN historically is – if there are disputes between member states, it should be discussed on a bilateral basis,” Del Rosario explained.
“There was no discussion regarding the Sabah conflict. The (Malaysian) foreign minister was not present. The (Malaysian) prime minister was not present. They were busy with the elections in Malaysia,” he added. –  Delon Porcalla

Joshua says many more should be charged.

The Defence Ministry has identified three opposition leaders to be behind the intrusion in Lahad Datu by a group of militants from southern Philippines, reports Bernama.

NONEIts minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said all information and details on these masterminds would be forwarded to the Attorney-General's Chambers for further action.

"What I can say is that two of the opposition leaders involved are from the peninsula and the other, from Sabah," he said at a news conference after his visit to the Royal Malaysian Air Force College in Alor Setar today.

Ahmad Zahid, however, did not reveal the names of the opposition leaders involved.

He said the government wanted to avoid certain parties from claiming it to be a political ploy by BN or political "sandiwara" (drama) by Umno, therefore, all action pertaining to the intrusion incident would be taken after the 13th general election.

"Legal action can only be taken after all the evidence have been gathered, and we have them," he added, according to Bernama.

Meanwhile, caretaker Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak criticised the opposition for allegedly belittling the contributions of the security forces over the Lahad Datu incident.

Delivering his speech at the General Operations Force northern brigade at Hulu Kinta, Perak today, he slammed the opposition for allegedly saying the Lahad Datu intrusion was an Umno ploy.

Najib said that in other countries such as the United States, both the Democrats and Republican will stand together if there were a national security issue.

“But it’s different in our country, when the Lahad Datu and Semporna incidents happened, the political parties competing in the general election must come out with the same stand as in other countries, to show that we are practicing a mature democracy,” he said.

Jamalul Kiram's brother charged with waging war
http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/227383

Datu Amirbahar Hushin Kiram, the brother of Jamalul Kiram, the self-proclaimed sultan of Sulu, was charged in the Lahad Datu magistrate’s court today with waging war against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and being a member of a terrorist group.

The court sat in a special session at the Lahad Datu district police headquarters.

Datu Amirbahar, who is said to be the defence minister of the Sulu sultanate, faces the death sentence if convicted under section 121 of the Penal Code for waging war against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong while the terrorist charge under section 130KA of the same code carries life imprisonment and liability of whipping.

Datu Amirbahar, 49, of Jolo, southern Philippines, is alleged to have committed the offences in  Kg Tanduo, Lahad Datu, between Feb 9 and March 23. He was arrested on March 23.

No plea was recorded. The charge was read out to Datu Amirbahar in the Suluk language before Lahad Datu Sessions Court judge Rajalingam SS Maniam, who sat as a magistrate.

The prosecution was led by Trial and Appeal Division chief Nordin Hassan and deputy public prosecutor Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar, both from the Attorney-General’s Chambers, and Lahad Datu DPP Shukor Abu Bakar.

The court also allowed the prosecution's application under section 177A (2) of the Criminal Procedure Code to transfer the case to the Tawau High Court and fixed May 14 for mention in that court.

Under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012, all security cases are to be tried in the High Court.

Including today’s case, 20 Filipinos have been charged so far in connection with the recent intrusion in Lahad Datu by armed terrorists. The charges included waging war against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, being members of a terrorist group, sheltering terrorists and recruiting members for a terrorist group.

A local police corporal had also been charged with failing to provide information on terrorist activities. All the cases had also been transferred to the Tawau High Court.

61. Security Forces Given Full Trust To Launch Offensive Against Intruders

Security Forces Given Full Trust To Launch Offensive Against Intruders
SEMPORNA, April 14 (Bernama) - The Barisan Nasional (BN) government gave full trust to the security forces to launch an offensive against the militants from southern Philippines who intruded Sabah.

Armed Forces Chief Gen Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin said the security forces decided to launch the offensive after negotiations to resolve the issue failed.

"When it was time to use a harder approach, we (military and police) were given full mandate to defeat the enemy. We launched Operation Daulat on March 5," he told leaders of the Chinese community here Sunday.

Also present was Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.

Zulkifeli said in the history of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM), it was the first time that a large number of military assets were deployed.

"We wanted to show the enemy that we were not kidding. Although there were only 230 people, it involved national security and sovereignty. This was why we launched the offensive."

He said the assets deployed against the terrorists were small compared to the actual capacity owned by security forces but they were sufficient to send a strong message to the enemy not to challenge the nation's sovereignty.

The fight against terrorists in Lahad Datu and Semporna also made history when for the first time, the highest ranking ATM officer and the highest ranking police officer were at the frontline.

Zulkifeli said based on his experience in Mindanao, southern Philippines, the majority of the Moro people love peace and security.

"Only a few like to stir up trouble like the group who intruded Sabah. Anyone who intruded Malaysian territory, no matter what the race, is treated as the enemy."

Malaysia frees 32 Filipinos held over incursion

 0 1 0 1

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian police said they had released 32 armed Filipinos arrested earlier this week on suspicion of trying to join an incursion by Islamic militants in an eastern state, media reports said Friday.

Sabah state police chief Hamza Taib was quoted by Malaysian media saying the 32 men would be deported back to the Philippines after investigators concluded they had no link with the ongoing incursion.

More than 200 armed followers of a self-styled sultan landed in the state of Sabah on Borneo island in February, reviving a centuries-old land claim by the long-defunct Sulu sultanate, once based in the southern Philippines.

Fighting between the militants and security forces has killed at least 68 Filipinos and 10 Malaysian security personnel, authorities have said.

But Hamza said police determined that the 32 men, who were caught in a wooden motor boat off Sabah armed with guns and machetes, were part of a team of campaigners for a mayoral election in the southern Philippines whose boat had veered off course.

"Those who enter Sabah illegally bearing weapons will be detained and investigated... although we know that in the Philippines, people having guns and weapons is like us having a handphone," Hamza was quoted saying by the website of Malaysia's The Star newspaper.

Authorities are still trying to flush out scattered militant remnants and their sympathisers to end Malaysia's worst security crisis in recent years.

For centuries, people have moved back and forth across the porous sea border separating Sabah and the adjacent southern Philippines, known for its lawlessness and Islamic insurgencies.

The Sabah incursion has aroused heated sentiments on both sides, with Malaysians outraged by the territorial breach, while many in the Philippines have voiced support for the militants.

Idjirani said  that fighting between the Royal Sulu Sabah Security Force and the Malaysian security forces erupted in Sabah on the nights of April 6 and 7 in Tanjung Batu, a village in Lahad Datu. He said 12 to 13 Malaysians killed or Injured suffered “heavy casualties.”
He said the recent arrival of the “RSSF volunteer fighters” was a “signal” to the Malaysian government that the sultanate would now press for its claim over its “Ancestral right over Sabah North Borneo”
“They provoked us, and now we are going beyond our initial demand, that we want to live in peace on our land,” Idjirani said.
“The sultanate’s demand now is to recognize our ancestral right,” he added.
According to Idjirani, fighting between the ROYAL SULU SABAH FORCE (RSSF) and Malaysian forces took place on the night of April 6 and 7. He claimed that the Malaysians suffered “heavy casualties” while there were no reported injuries or deaths among the “RSSF volunteer fighters.”

The online news portal of TV5
JOLO, Sulu - In a camp set up by the Moro National Liberation Front in this part of southern Philippines,  recruits are being trained by veteran combat fighters "to rescue" thousands of Filipinos allegedly being abused by Malaysian security forces in Sabah.
MNLF Chman Nur Misuari gave News5 an exclusive peek into the ongoing training for members of "Operation Rescue"" as he claimed they were ready to "sustain a war for a hundred years" if necessary.
Misuari, founder of the original Moro insurgent force in the 1960s, claimed 1,000 of their men have already snuck into Sabah where a standoff began February 12 between Mlaysian forces and followers of the Sulu sultanate ouit to "reclaim" ancient territory.
Misuari stressed that their troops are not allied with the Royal Sultanate Army but have as their main mision the "rescue" of Filipinos allegedly being "abused" by Malaysia. Over 60 Filipinos have died in the standoff, and thousands others are feared caught in the crackdown.
Separate from Misuari's statements, members of the self-styled "Royal Security Force of the Sulu Sultanate" who remain holed up in Lahad Datu, Sabah, claim to have received additional reinforcements from sympathizers in the Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi areas.
Abraham Idjirani, sultanate spokesman and secretary general, claimed in a phone interview that as of Tuesday, Raja Muda Agbimuddin Kiram and his Royal Security Force are 400-strong, after dwindling to just over 160 in the face of heavy Malaysian assault.
Idjirani said more Filipinos went to Sabah on March 29 and April 5 on board boats, able to slip past the naval blockade set up by both the Philippines and Malaysia. He said "70 to 80 percent" of those who went there were reportedly armed. He said these Filipinos went there on their own due to "accumulated anger" after their loved ones in Sabah were either allegedly killed or harassed by Malaysians.
Idjirani's claims could not be independently verified, and Philippine military officials have said that naval forces are in place to block any such attempts to reinforce the sultanate's followers in Sabah.
At the MNLF camp, trainees were being instructed on the use of machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades. Sulu Gov. Abdulsakur Tan cautioned Misuari against any rash actions, while a military spokesman warned that the supposed rescue plans, if carried out, would go against Philippine policies on the Sabah standoff. Manila appoints lawyer Sivananthan to represent its nationals

Posted on April 9, 2013, Tuesday
KUALA LUMPUR: Senior lawyer Datuk N Sivananthan has been appointed by the Philippine government to represent 15 of its nationals facing charges at the Tawau High Court for allegedly waging war against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and involvement in terrorism.
Sivananthan, when contacted by Bernama, confirmed the appointment and said Kota Kinabalu-based lawyer James Tsai will be making an application at the High Court for him to be admitted on an ad-hoc basis to represent all the accused. The case has been set for mention on April 12.
Sivananthan, 47, and James Tsai will represent other Filipinos still detained by police during Ops Daulat.
Sivananthan was the first Malaysian to be admitted to the list of counsels at the International Criminal Court based at the Hague and he is the vice-president of the International Criminal Bar since 2010 and was re-elected for another two years recently.
So far, 16 people have been charged in connection with the incursion with the first of eight Filipinos charged on March 20, followed by seven more on April 1.
A police corporal was also charged in the same court on April 1 for refraining from disclosing information on terrorist acts, under Section 130M of the Penal Code which carries a maximum seven years’ jail or a fine, or both upon conviction.
According to official figures released by police up to Sunday, a total of 135 were arrested so far under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma) and 70 other intruders were killed in shootouts with security forces. — Bernama

32 nabbed off Sabah waters, weapons seized

KOTA KINABALU: Security forces nabbed 32 individuals in a boat off the waters of Sabah, about 12 nautical miles from Tambisan, Lahad Datu yesterday morning.
They also seized weapons such as fire arms, barong knives and axes and several documents from the men.
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib said the men have been detained under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012.
“We have not identified their nationality yet,” he said during a press conference at the Kota Kinabalu Police Head Quarters here yesterday.
Hamza reiterated that all the districts in Sabah were under control and denied allegations of another 100 armed intruders having entered the state.
“There is tight security around Sabah waters and the security forces have the situation under control,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Forensic team discovered another 15 bodies at Kampung Tanduo near Lahad Datu and made preparations to remove them from the Southern Philippine militant base this evening.
These were the bodies from a previous battle between the security forces and militant group which could not be removed earlier due to security reasons, he added. — Bernama

MANILA, Philippines - The fighters of the Sulu sultanate’s royal security force under the command of Agbimuddin Kiram regrouped in Lahad Datu, Sabah, it was learned yesterday.
Sultanate spokesman Abraham Idjirani said around 135 fighters of Agbimuddin regrouped and were reinforced by around 100 armed supporters from Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.
“They have regrouped and were even augmented. The only problem they have right now is the lack of food,” Idjirani said.
Idjirani added that the Malaysian security forces are also observing the unilateral ceasefire that was earlier declared by the sultanate of Sulu.
“There are no clashes so far but the Raja Muda has reported hearing gunfire at night,” Idjirani said, adding that the gunfire were not directed at Agbimuddin’s forces.
The sultanate’s forces are still engaged in a standoff with Malaysian security forces since they entered Sabah in February.

SECURITY forces hunting down remnants of Sulu militants in Lahad Datu claim to have seen apparitions of dead gunmen around Kampung Tanduo, the scene of bloody clashes with the terrorists last month, Kosmo! Ahad reported.
A source told the paper that at least three ghostly figures had been sighted, appearing at around the twilight hours.
“They kept seeing the three figures, with one of them wearing a white serban (turban),” he said, adding that the phantom gunmen were seen for just a few seconds each time.
The source said there were three pits in the village where dead militants were buried and many of the bodies were found in the mass graves with amulets around their waist, purportedly to make them invincible.

Man with links to ‘Sulu sultan’ surrenders to cops

A man from Penang who heads an Islamic welfare group has surrendered to the police, over his links with a members of the Sulu sultanate’s family.
According to the police, Muhammad Ridwan was subsequently arrested under Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012.
Speaking to reporters before turning himself in, Muhammad Ridhwan Sulaiman admitted that he did fund one Muedzul Lail Tan Kiram, who is among the claimants to the Sulu sultanate.
However, he denied any links with Jamalul Kiram III, who said he sent hundreds of armed men to Sabah to stake their historical claim of the state.
“I don’t know Jamalul Kiram,” said Muhammad Ridwan, according toBernama.
Yesterday, Sabah police chief Hamza Taib issued a statement requesting Muhammad Ridzwan to surrender immediately at the nearest police station.
Hamza clarified that Muhammad Ridzwan was not involved in the incursion into Sabah by men loyal to Jamalul Kiram, could help police in their investigation.
